En un període de deu anys s’estima que onze mil empreses i 24.000 treballadors es veuran involucrats en processos susceptibles d’acollir-se al programa Reempresa a la demarcació de Girona. Aquesta és una de les dades que es van donar a conèixer ahir durant la signatura del conveni entre la patronal FOEG i el Centre de Reempresa de Catalunya que impulsa la CECOT. El conveni facilitarà que les empreses i els emprenedors de la FOEG puguin rebre assessorament tant d’empresaris que cedeixen el seu negoci com dels emprenedors disposats a donar-los continuïtat.
El centre Reempresa, que ja funciona en algunes poblacions gironines gràcies a convenis similars signats amb ajuntaments i la Diputació de Girona, ha aconseguit tancar des de finals de l’any 2011 fins al març del 2014 un total de 250 casos de reempreses; és a dir, quan un empresari o emprenedor pren el testimoni en la gestió d’una empresa ja existent però que es veu obligada a tancar ja sigui per jubilació, per falta de continuïtat, per trasllat, per motius personals… El centre Reempresa selecciona tant les empreses que s’ofereixen com els interessats a adquirir-les.
