L’objectiu de la Reempresa és impulsar i estructurar la transmissió d’empreses per tal de generar creixement econòmic, evitant així el tancament de negocis econòmicament viables i la destrucció d’ocupació al territori. L’Ajuntament de Manlleu, a través de l’OPE, disposa d’un Punt d’Atenció del Centre de Reempresa de Catalunya que presta el servei Reempresa amb assessorament tant als empresaris que volen vendre la seva empresa com a les persones reemprenedores disposades a donar-los continuïtat. Des de Manlleu, prestem el servei Reempresa als municipis següents: Roda de Ter, les Masies de Roda, Tavertet, Rupit i Pruit, l’Esquirol, Sant Pere de Torelló, Vidrà, Santa Maria de Besora, Montesquiu, Sora, Sant Quirze de Besora, Orís, Sant Vicenç de Torelló, Torelló, les Masies de Voltregà, Santa Cecília de Voltregà i Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà.
L’acte comptarà amb la participació del Sr.Albert Colomer, director del Centre de Reempresa de Catalunya, Sr. Antoni Abad, president de la patronal Cecot i del Centre de Reempresa de Catalunya, Sra. Rosa Serra, coordinadora de l’Àrea de Desenvolupament Econòmic Local de la Diputació de Barcelona, i Il·lm. Sr. Àlex Garrido, alcalde de l’Ajuntament de Manlleu.
